Discussion and possible action on any and all matters regarding the appointment of an authorized representative to represent the City of San Luis in the Arizona State Land Department Auction of Sale. (Jenny Torres, Economic Development Manager)
SUMMARY:
The City of San Luis received notification of pending sale for the application submitted to the Arizona State Land Department for the right-of-way land for the widening of Cesar Chavez Boulevard. The right-of-way easement was valued at $606,381.00. The San Luis City Council approved a $350,000.00 deposit to the Arizona State Land Department at the Regular Council meeting of April 10, 2019. The city paid $10,500.00 for an appraisal fee and advertisement fee. The balance for the 16.119 acres of state land is $274,572.43. The Arizona State Land Department scheduled the auction of the sale of the land for May 25, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at the Yuma County Courthouse. The city needs an authorized representative to be present and bid on the land.

I MOVE TO APPOINT __________ AS THE CITY OF SAN LUIS REPRESENTATIVE FOR THE ARIZONA STATE LAND DEPARTMENT AUCTION OF SALE OF LAND AS PRESENTED.
