ITEM:
Discussion on any and all matters regarding the 1st Avenue and Juan Sanchez Blvd. Intersection Improvements Project that is under design. Discuss conceptual layout. (Eulogio Vera, Director of Public Works)
SUMMARY:
City staff has been working on establishing the needed improvements on the intersections of Juan Sanchez Blvd. with 1st and 4th Avenue. Traffic study was conducted and recommendations are being followed for the design as well as key features and roadway geometric layout recommended on ADOT's Project Assessment document for the Juan Sanchez Blvd. corridor. Idea is to provide improvements feasible at this time and enhance and improve pedestrian and vehicular circulation and safety for the area. Proposed improvements are designed to easily accommodate any future expansion. Conceptual layout will be demonstrated and explained.
