ITEM:
Discussion and possible action on any and all matters regarding Resolution No. 2188. A resolution of the Mayor and City Council of the City of San Luis, Arizona amending section HR-4-03(A) of the City of San Luis Personnel Policies relating to holidays, adding Miguel Gonzalez Day in memory of our esteemed colleague lost due to the COVID-19 pandemic and in commemoration of the perseverance of the essential workers and first responders in continuing the services to the City of San Luis throughout the difficulties presented by the public health emergency. (Mayor Gerardo Sanchez and Vice Mayor Africa Luna-Carrasco)
SUMMARY:
The remembrance and commemoration day described in this item is to be observed annually by the Municipality of San Luis on the last Monday of October.
