SUMMARY:
As of the publication of this agenda, an offer had been extended to a candidate for Magistrate contingent on the approval of the City Council.
As required by Arizona law, judicial contracts must be a minimum of two (2) years in duration. The City Council appoints the Magistrate position per San Luis City Code § 2.30.200.

RECOMMENDATION / SUGGESTED MOTION:
I MOVE TO APPOINT DENAE FIGUEROA AS MAGISTRATE AND APPROVE AND ADOPT THE PROPOSED CONTRACT FOR MAGISTRATE.
