ITEM:
Discussion and possible action on any and all matters regarding Resolution No. 2298. A Resolution of the Mayor and City Council of the City of San Luis, Arizona, requiring City Council approval of the designs and colors of the various City of San Luis insignia, including, but not limited to, the city seal, department logos, badges for the Police and Fire Departments; repealing conflicting provisions, and providing for severability. (Jenny Torres, Acting City Manager)
SUMMARY:
Vice-Mayor Luis Cabrera requested that this item be placed on the Agenda. The resolution requires the City Council to approve all city insignia or changes to them. The city insignia is a defined term in this resolution meaning any emblem representing the City of San Luis, Arizona, (City), including but not limited to the city seal, city flag, city department logos, city badges (including but not limited to the Police badges, the Fire Department badges, or other city department badges or logos).
