ITEM:
Discussion and possible action on any and all matters regarding a contract with CBIZ Benefits & Insurance Services, Inc. for employee benefits broker and consultant services. (Kay Marion Macuil, City Attorney)
SUMMARY:
At the last meeting, the Trustee Board chose CBIZ Benefits & Insurance, Inc. ("CBIZ") from the respondents to the Request for Qualifications & Request for Proposals for an employee benefits broker and consultant. The term is for three (3) years with option for the Trust to renew for an additional two (2) years.
The request for proposals section for the solicitation for bids utilized a negotiated fee process. The compensation has been worked out with CBIZ and the staff is recommending approval of the contract.
