Discussion and possible action on any and all matters regarding consideration of the Greater Yuma Economic Development Corporation's inclusion in the City Council's Contractual Services budget for the Fiscal Year 2024-2025. (Jenny Torres, Acting City Manager)
SUMMARY:
At the April 27, 2024, City Council Budget Retreat Meeting, the Acting City Manager presented a recommendation for the City Council's Contractual Services General Ledger #80000. The recommendation included a $67,000.00 contribution to the Greater Yuma Economic Development Corporation.
At the May 8, 2024, Regular City Council Meeting, the Acting City Manager's recommendation for the City Council's Contractual Services General Ledger #80000 was included on the consent agenda, except for the Greater Yuma Economic Development Corporation contribution in the amount of $63,763.00, providing an opportunity for council to discuss this item at a separate future meeting.
At this regular meeting on May 22, 2024, the contribution to the Greater Yuma Economic Development Corporation is under consideration by the City Council's to be included in the contractual services budget.
