ITEM:
Discussion and possible action on any and all matters regarding rescinding the motion to reimburse LaSalle Corrections for a boiler purchase from the bond Operating/Reserve/Repair/Contingency fund. (Kay Marion Macuil, City Attorney)
SUMMARY:
On January 22, 2025, the San Luis Facility Development Corporation Board approved reimbursing LaSalle Corrections for the purchase of a boiler in the amount of $6,844.62. This was a capital expense to the facility, and therefore, the funds were requested to come from the Operating/Reserve/Repair/Contingency Account under Section 5.06(e) of the Bond Indenture.
Staff did not send the cost to the Trustee for payment as we were going to return to this Board with two more expenses (a commercial garbage disposal and another boiler replacement). Before we returned to the Board, La Salle decided to absorb all of these costs.

RECOMMENDATION / SUGGESTED MOTION:
I MOVE TO RESCIND THE JANUARY 22, 2025, APPROVAL OF REPLACEMENT COSTS FOR A BOILER IN THE AMOUNT OF $6,844.62 THROUGH THE Operating/Reserve/Repair/Contingency Account UNDER 5.06(E) OF THE BOND INDENTURE.
