ITEM:
Discussion and possible action on any and all matters regarding the proposal with Willdan Financial Services to provide an economic evaluation and benefit analysis of proposed projects to be completed by the City of San Luis. (Jenny Torres, Community Development Director)
SUMMARY:
The Community Development Department is working with three (3) potential projects to be developed in San Luis. The projects consist of a potential hotel development, internal improvements of an existing office building, and a new facility for assembly of solid waste carriers. The city will be asked to provide incentives in exchange for new developments. The economic studies will provide an analysis of the economic benefit to the city treasury. The estimated cost of all three (3) studies is in the amount of $18,000.00.
RECOMMENDATION / SUGGESTED MOTION:
I MOVE TO APPROVE THE CONTRACT WITH WILDAN FINANCIAL SERVICES IN THE AMOUNT OF $18,000.00 AS PRESENTED.
