CONSIDER AMENDMENT TO THE FARE REIMBURSEMENT AGREEMENT WITH THE METROPOLITAN COUNCIL FOR THE RAMSEY STAR EXPRESS BUS SERVICE

The original fare reimbursement agreement with the Met Council, for the Ramsey Star Express bus service, is set to expire at the end of the year.  The proposed first amendment will extend the timeline of the existing agreement to March 31, 2011.  The Met Council is currently evaluating additional updates and changes to all fare reimbursement agreements, but it will take some time for a complete analysis and drafting.  Until such time the original terms of the agreement will remain in place until a new agreement is created and brought forward to the City Council for consideration.  This amendment does not lock the City into anything additional, it just extends the timeline of the existing contract.

Accept the FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT FOR TRANSIT CONVENIENCE/PREPAID FARE REIMBURSEMENTS BETWEEN THE METROPOLITAN COUNCIL AND THE CITY OF RAMSEY.
