Title
Adopt Resolution #19-244 to Approve the 2019 Amended and Restated Joint Powers Agreement for North Metro Mayors Association
Purpose/Background:
The purpose of this case is to approve the amended and restated joint powers agreement of the NMMA, including Fridley as a new member to the organization. The City of Ramsey is a current member of the North Metro Mayors Association, a Minnesota joint powers organization. Other members include the city of Andover, Anoka, Blaine, Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park, Champlin, Circle Pines, Coon Rapids, Dayton, Fridley, Mounds View, Maple Grove, New Brighton, New Hope and Spring Lake Park. Attached is a copy of the 2019 Amended and Restated Joint Powers Agreement for a Coalition of Metropolitan Communities.
Recommendation:
Staff recommends adopting the attached resolution.
