Title:
Adopt Resolution #20-120 Establishing a Public Facility Naming Policy
Purpose/Background:
Considerable discussion has occurred over the years, relative to naming public facilities—culminating in the Park and Recreation Commission recommending a naming policy to City Council at the regular February meeting in 2020, (background for which is contained within the second attachment).
The attached Resolution is the Public Facility Naming Policy (first attachment) recommended to City Council by the Commission.

Funding Source:
No funding is required for the establishment of the Public Facility Naming Policy.
Recommendation:
Staff supports the aforementioned policy.
