Title
Adopt Resolution #20-168 Rehiring a Temporary Building Maintenance Worker
Purpose/Background:
At a recent City Council work session, staff alerted the City Council of an upcoming staffing shortage in the Building Maintenance Division. The City Council, by consensus, directed staff reach out to the former temporary Building Maintenance Worker to fill the temporary position. Mr. Benson has passed the pre-employment screenings and staff recommends rehiring Mr. Eric Benson.

Funding Source:
The funding required for this position is included in the 2020 budget.
Recommendation:
Staff recommends adopting resolution #20-168 to rehire Erick Benson, as a temporary building maintenance worker, effective on or near August 26, 2020 at $15.50 per hour for up to 20 working days.
Action:
Motion to adopt resolution #20-168 to rehire Erick Benson, as a temporary building maintenance worker, effective on or near August 24, 2020 at $15.50 per hour for up to 20 working days.
