Presentation of 2020 Photo Contest Winners

The purpose of this presentation is to present the winners and awards of the 2020 Photo Contest.  The fourth annual photo contest is intended to engage residents in showcasing Ramsey, and their talents as photographers, as well as to collect images for use in City publications.
 
Entries were to be submitted in four categories and judged and evaluated based on creativity, quality, composition, and expression of category theme. (Over 100 entries were submitted in 2020, and are featured in the attachment.)  Category themes are outlined as:

• Nature of Ramsey: Viewing landscapes, plants, animals, weather, etc.
• Parks and Trails: Enjoying parks and trails in Ramsey, highlighting favorite outdoor spaces
• Industry and Commerce of Ramsey: Displaying diversity of industrial, commercial, and agricultural operations in Ramsey 
• Life in Ramsey: Celebrating the community through events, recreation, arts, culture, sports, and gathering places, etc.

Recreation Specialist Abby Proulx will provide a brief slideshow to accompany this presentation, featuring the winning photo(s) by category and the Overall Grand Prize winning photo as affirmed by the Park & Recreation Commission.
