Adopt the Updated City of Ramsey Strategic Communications Plan

Over the course of the last several months the City Council, together with City staff, has discussed the Strategic Communications Plan. Most recently, the city council reviewed a final draft of the plan at the council work session of April 13, 2021.  Revisions were made based upon that discussion. 

The purpose of the Strategic Communications Plan is to address the City's commitment to maintaining effective communication. The City recognizes that quality communication plays an integral role in its ability to responsibly grow the community and provide quality, cost-effective and efficient government services. The Strategic Communications Plan is intended to be a tool to ensure the City meets the communications goals of the City Council and effectively meets the needs of our residents. This plan outlines a process by which the City can provide an intentional and consistent voice and message.

Final adoption of this document will guide the work flow processes of communications, information technology (IT) and other staff throughout 2021 and beyond.
