Introduce Ordinance #21-13 Amending City Code Section 105-142 (Building and Building Regulations) to add 2021 International Property Maintenance Code

Ordinance #21-13 amends Section 105-142 to adopt current international building and property maintenance standards in the City of Ramsey, while eliminating reference to the previous International Property Maintenance Code from 2006. The 2021 International Property Maintenance Code is the current building regulation standards in the City of Ramsey. This would update the City's Code references to currently available documents, and make both building permit and code enforcement regulations easier and more streamlined. This change is very minor and more administrative in nature.

Ramsey City Code Section 105-142 adopted 2006 International Property Maintenance Code. The 2021 International Property Maintenance Code has recently been published and City Staff would like to update the Code to enforce the revised standards. The International Property Maintenance Code are a set of standards used widely. 

Staff is handling this as part of normal duties.

Staff recommends Approval of Ordinance #21-13 Amending the International Property Maintenance Code for City Code Section 105-142.
