Consider Recommendation to Terminate a City Employee
Purpose/Background:
The purpose of this case is for the City Council to consider terminating Mr. Greg Lind's employment with the City of Ramsey
.
The City Council met in closed session on November 9, 2021 regarding this matter. Staff discussed the matter with the City Council and the City Attorney and it was the consensus of the City Council to move ahead with the termination. It should be noted that the recommendation to terminate Mr. Lind is not related to performance; rather the employee has not been actively at work since March 2021 and is no longer able to perform the essential functions of the position. The employee would be leaving in good standing.
