This change is very minor and more administrative in nature.

- February 8, 2022: Staff presented Ordinance #22-06 to City Council for introduction.
Based on feedback from Council, Staff has made the following recent revisions:
- The zoning administrator definition has been revised to include the fire marshal, chief of police, and any other designee.
- Commercial vehicles, shown in the table, are subject to the off-street parking codes. Meaning that more than one signed vehicle is allowed, in accordance with section 117-355.
- Home occupation permit holders shall be given reasonable notice if an inspection is requested. The inspection would include the area covered by the permit. Ex. a home occupation limited to an accessory structure, would not require an inspection of the principle structure.
- The language for the death or move of a home occupation permit holder has been revised. The section has been separated, the death and desired continuous by the surviving family shall continued with written notice to the zoning administrator, subject to the same original terms.
- Should the occupation move to a new location, the permit may request the city council to authorize the occupation in the new location. This provides the opportunity for Staff and Council to ensure that the occupation will be harmonious with the proposed neighborhood, not cause disturbances, and allow public comment from the properties that would be near to the home occupation in the new neighborhood.
Notification:
After significant revisions to the original proposal to the home occupation section, a second Public Hearing Notice for the February 8, 2022 City Council meeting was advertised in the Anoka County Union-Herald.
