Title
Accept the Retirement/Resignation of City Administrator Kurtis Ulrich
Purpose/Background:
The purpose of this case is to accept the retirement/resignation of City Administrator Kurtis Ulrich.
City Administrator Kurtis Ulrich is retiring after 42 years of public service in public administration, of which, fourteen of those years were with the City of Ramsey. Administrator Ulrich’s last date of work in the office will be May 6, 2022. Dr. Ulrich is the longest serving City Administrator in the history of the City of Ramsey.
A work session discussion on the process to fill this position will be scheduled for an upcoming meeting. Staff recommends outsourcing this executive level opening with a professional search firm. Staff will be soliciting proposals from search firms to bring back for consideration at the work session when this matter is discussed.
