Title:
Provide Direction: Highway 10 Frontage Road Between Ramsey Blvd & Armstrong Blvd
Purpose/Background:
Planning and design efforts continue as part of the Ramsey Gateway project. Anoka County is the lead agency in the process and has been working with many entities, including the City of Ramsey and Bolton & Menk Inc. to design the layout. As part of the project, frontage roads will be constructed on the north side of Highway 10 providing safer access to those businesses. As we near the final design, direction from the City Council is being requested for the frontage road length west of Ramsey Blvd.
Jason Orcutt, Anoka County Program Delivery Manager, will be present to review options for the road configuration and costs associated with various scenarios. Ramsey staff have also met to discuss both the benefits and negative impacts of these variations. Mr. Orcutt, along with Ramsey staff, will present further information at the meeting.
