Title
Adopt Resolution #23-095 Approving Application to Conduct Off-Site Gambling by Ramsey Lions Club at Happy Days
Purpose/Background:
Staff recently received the attached application from the Ramsey Lions Club to conduct off-site gambling at the Ramsey Happy Days event held the weekend of September 9, 2023. The Ramsey Lions are asking to conduct a raffle and tipboards at Happy Days.
The Minnesota Gambling Control Board requires that the City approve such a request by resolution specifically approving or denying the application.

Notification:
If approved, the City Finance Director will sign the application and any other documents required by the Minnesota Gambling Board.
Observations/Alternatives:
Adopt Resolution #23-095 or deny Resolution #23-095.
Recommendation:
Staff recommends Council approval of the application by the Ramsey Lions Club to conduct off-site gambling at Ramsey Happy Days.
Action:
Motion to adopt Resolution #23-095 appproving the application by the Ramsey Lions Club to conduct off-site gambling at Ramsey Happy Days.
