Title
Adopt Resolution #23-195 Approving a Development Agreement for Aldi.
Purpose/Background:
On July 11, the City Council approved the site plan review and the final plat for the Aldi project southwest of the Sunwood Drive roundabout. The requested action is to approve the development agreement for the approved plans. This is the last step of Council actions before Aldi can close on the property and apply for building permits to construct the building.
The development agreement is standard in its form with one thing of note: the site will receive credit for 1.36 acres of development fees that were paid by a previous development that did not go through.
