Title:
Final 2024 Budget/Levy Review Before Preliminary Adoption on 9-26-23
Purpose/Background:
Continuation of the discussion pertaining to the 2024 General Fund Budget and tax levies. One further review before preliminary adoption.
City Council and staff reviewed personnel requests at the last worksession of August 22 and the only change was to stagger the start dates of the maintenance workers and mechanic to net a savings of $85,000 which was the annual expense of one full-time position. This reduction is reflected in the attached documents.
The last major item to review prior to preliminary adoption is capital equipment requests.
Preliminary adoption of the 2024 General Fund Budget and preliminary levies is scheduled for the regular City Council meeting of September 26, 2023.
