Approve Field Use and Limited Cross-Parking Agreement, PACT Charter School and the City of Ramsey

As part of approvals for PACT Charter School, it was understood that the school would need day-time athletic field use within Central Park, and periodically throughout the year, the city may need overflow parking at the school. The purpose of this case is to approve the agreement governing these uses, and authorize the city administrator to sign the agreement on behalf of the city.

PACT Charter School's Board of Directors approved the Field Use and Limited Cross-Parking Agreement on November 2nd, 2023.

There is no funding needed for approval of this agreement—rather, the city benefits by achieving limited overflow parking for large events at Central Park, and PACT Charter School shall pay the city annually for athletic field use.

Staff recommends approval of the Field Use and Limited Cross-Parking Agreement, noting that amendments may be made annually, at the discretion, and to the benefit of the city.
