Title:
PUBLIC HEARING - Adopt Resolution #24-010 Vacating Various Street Rights-of-Way in the COR
Purpose/Background:
In 2003, the Plat of Ramsey Town Center Addition was recorded creating various roadways within the COR. Some of these roadways were never constructed. With the Waterfront Park excavation and mass grading in the fall of 2023, new roadway alignments are planned for the construction of West Ramsey Parkway and Center Street in 2024. The old unused rights-of-way will be incorporated into future Waterfront Park and development sites.
The private utility companies (gas, electric, cable, etc.) were notified and those responding stated no utilities were present. Comcast noted that they have cable in the right-of-way for Center Street. Staff will work with Comcast on relocating the cable, if it becomes necessary.
