Title
Adopt Resolution #24-075 Approving a Vacation of Road Rights-of-Way in Ramsey Town Center, Replacing Resolution #24-010.
Purpose/Background:
On January 23, 2024, the City Council held a public hearing and subsequently adopted Resolution #24-010 vacating street rights-of-way in the plat of Ramsey Town Center. The resolution was conditioned upon subsequently recording the plat of COR Five (also on tonight's agenda). The Anoka County Property Records & Taxation Division rejected the recording of this resolution due to that condition where the plat is not yet available. A vacation resolution needs to be recorded well before the plat in order to have the County Title Examiner prepare a directive for the proposed legal descriptions in the plat. The County also requested some formatting changes. The proposed Resolution #24-075 is essentially the same resolution without that condition, as well as formatted differently.
Notification:
The notification was provided for the January 23, 2024, public hearing in the typical format. No notification is required for the revised resolution.
Funding Source:
Costs associated with the project are split between staff's normal duties and TIF 14 eligible expenses.
Recommendation:
Staff recommends adopting Resolution #24-075.
Action:
Motion to adopt Resolution #24-075 Approving a Vacation of Road Rights-of-Way in Ramsey Town Center.
