Title:
Review MnDOT and Metropolitan Council's position on TH 10 Corridor
Background:
A meeting was held on November 21, 2011, which included representatives from MnDOT, the Metropolitan Council, Representative Abeler, Senator Jungbauer, Anoka County and City of Ramsey officials and staff. The meeting allowed all parties to explain and discuss their perspectives and understandings regarding the TH 10 corridor and the properties acquired along TH 10 through the Right-of-Way Acquisition Loan Fund (RALF). Staff received a copy of a letter from MnDOT and Met Council, summarizing that discussion/meeting.
Highlights of the letter address the issues discussed at the meeting - Near Term Improvement Strategy - MnDOT's Corridor Investment Management Strategy Approach, long range improvement strategy - next 20+ years, CSAH 83/Armstrong Interchange, RALF reassessment, and TH10 RALF parcels. The letter is attached for Council review and staff is prepared for discussion.
