Recognition of Retiring Police Chief Jeff Katers for 24 Years of Service with the Ramsey Police Department.

Retiring Police Chief Jeff Katers began his service with the City of Ramsey as a Patrol Officer in 2000.  In 2006, he was promoted to the rank of Sergeant.  Then in 2010, he was promoted to a Lieutenant position, followed by a promotion to Captain in 2012.  In 2015, he was promoted to Chief of Police. Chief Katers' last day as Police Chief for the City of Ramsey will be November 18, 2024. He will be presented with a plaque that expresses appreciation for 24 years of outstanding and honorable service to the citizens of Ramsey and to the Ramsey Police Department.
