Legislative Update
Purpose/Background:
The 2025 Minnesota Legislative Session closed on May 19, 2025 without completion of final bills. Lawmakers have been holding working groups prior to reconvening for final passage of bills. No date has been shared on when a special session may occur. Furthermore, information on what has been supported by the working groups has been limited. Since the May 27, 2025 City Council meeting, staff has not received any note worthy update on Ramsey's legislative efforts.

This case is for informational purposes only. Staff are available to answer any questions, but do not plan to review each item in detail.
