Title:
Adopt Resolution #25-179 To Amend Joint Powers Agreement With North Metro Mayors Association
Purpose/Background:
The City of Ramsey is a member of the Joint Powers Agreement (JPA) with the North Metro Mayors Association (NMMA). NMMA is a coalition of cities who work together to better the northern metro region through advocating on transportation improvements to presenting a common voice on legislative actions. The City of Crystal is seeking to join the NMMA, and per the by-laws, member cities must amend the JPA for this to occur. Member cities through the NMMA Board meeting collectively agree the addition of the City of Crystal will aid in the groups efforts.

Recommendation:
Staff recommends approving the 2nd Amendment to the JPA for NMMA.
Outcome/Action:
Motion to adopt Resolution #25-179 to Amend Joint Powers Agreement with North Metro Mayors Association.
