Title:
Adopt Resolution #25-199 Accepting Donation of a Drone from Morrison County Sheriff's Office
Purpose/Background:
The City of Ramsey intends to implement a drone program within the Police Department in 2026. As part of the program, a training drone would be beneficial to have for officers to practice with. Morrison County Sheriff's Office has updated their fleet, and has offered to donate one of their excess drones to us. We would need to purchase some minor equipment to operate the drone, but the donation would provide a substantial cost savings towards an effort to have practice equipment.
Recommendation:
Staff recommend adopting Res. #25-199.
Outcome/Action:
Motion to adopt Resolution #25-199 Accepting Donation of a Drone from Morrison County Sheriff's Office.
