Title:
Adopt Resolution #25-245 Approving Civil Legal Services Contract with Eckberg Lammers
Purpose/Background:
The City of Ramsey conducted a formal request for proposals (RFP) process from July 9 – August 1. Six firms submitted proposals for consideration, with the City Council interview all firms. Concluding interviews, City Council deliberated with final consensus given to staff to negotiate a new Civil Legal Services Contract with Attorney Amanda Johnson of Eckberg Lammers beginning November 1, 2025. Attached to this case is the full contract, along with the resolution to approve the contract.
Funding Source:
Civil Legal Services are budgeted within the City's annual budget adoption. Some work billed may be passed through to third parties, including but not limited to land use applications.
Recommendation:
Staff recommends approval of the contract.
Outcome/Action:
Motion to adopt Resolution #25-245 approving Civil Legal Services Contract with Eckberg Lammers.
