Title:
Approve Police Training Tracking Program
Purpose/Background:
The Police Department requested a training tracking program as part of the 2026 budget. This program will assist in tracking the required training set forth by the MN Board of Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST). The POST Board sets the requirements officers must meet during their 3-year licensing cycle to maintain their state licensure. The request was approved when the 2026 budget was passed on December 9, 2025. PD staff selected Vector Solutions Software to administer this program for their needs. The agreement was submitted to the city attorney for review and approval. The city attorney has reviewed the agreement and has no concerns with it. The agreement is attached.

This request was in the 2026 budget requests, which were approved on December 9, 2025.
Recommendation:
Staff recommends approval of the contract.

Motion to approve the contract with Vector Solutions Software.
