Title:
PUBLIC HEARING: Adopt Resolution #26-058 Vacating Drainage and Utility Easements in OSHAUGHNESSY ADDITION
Purpose/Background:
As part of the OSHAUGHNESSY THIRD ADDITION plat that replats two parcels of record into four lots, the existing perimeter drainage and utility easements on a portion of one of the parcels need to be vacated. New easements will be dedicated with the proposed plat that follows the new lot lines.
Notification:
Public hearing notices were mailed to property owners 350 feet from the site. A legal notice was published in the Anoka Union Herald Newspaper. Private utility companies were emailed the notice.
Some of the private utility companies have noted that they have facilities in the existing easement along St. Francis Blvd. NW. With the proposed plat of Oshaughnessy Third Addition, the right-of-way for that road will be widened and an additional perimeter easement will be dedicated to protect those utilities.
