Title:
Adopt Resolution #26-136 Declaring the City of Ramsey will not fly the State Flag
Purpose/Background:
On May 26, 2026, the City Council passed a motion declaring the City of Ramsey would not fly the Minnesota State Flag. Minnesota Statute requires only the State Capitol Grounds to have the flag continuously flown. This resolution memorializes the previously passed motion.
Recommendation:
Staff recommends adopting Resolution #26-136 to memorialize a previously passed motion.
Outcome/Action:
Motion to adopt Resolution #26-136 Declaring the City of Ramsey will not fly the State Flag.
