Approve Request to Declare Surplus Property
Background:
Staff is requesting Council declare the following property surplus and authorize sale of same:
#312 - 1997 Dodge Ram - VIN 1B7HF13Z7VJ613543 - Mileage 137,974
#372 - 2007 Ford Crown Victoria - VIN 2FAHP71WX7X127205 - Mileage 96,298
#383 - 2008 Ford Crown Victoria - VIN 2FAFP71V78X163255 - Mileage 86,971
#387 - 2008 Ford Crown Victoria - VIN 2FAFP71V38X164998 - Mileage 100,044
#627 - 1997 Ford F350 - VIN 3FEJF37G3VMA53200 - Mileage 101,301
Vehicles #312 and #627 are both being replaced by new vehicles. They are just "old and worn out". Vehicles #372, 383, and 387 were retired from the Police Department for high miles and were used for a while in Public Works until the seasonals were done for the year. They are no longer needed.
