Title:
Consider Response to City of Anoka Comprehensive Plan Amendment for Bunker Lake Boulevard/Seventh Avenue Area and Anoka Station Master Plan
Background:
The City has received a request for comment to a Comprehensive Plan Amendment in the City of Anoka. Minnesota Statute Chapter 473 allows adjacent communities to comment on proposed Comprehensive Plan Amendments prior to review by the Metropolitan Council. The details of the amendment are included in the attached documents. The response is administrative in nature; however, it has been the informal policy of the City to forward the proposed responses to the City Council prior to issuance.
Recommendation:
Staff recommends that the City submit the attached response to the City of Anoka related to the request for comment to the Comprehensive Plan Amendments.
Funding Source:
Preparation of the response is being handled as part of regular Staff duties.
Council Action:
Motion to direct Staff to submit the attached response to the City of Anoka related to the request for comment to the Comprehensive Plan Amendments.
