Title:
Public Hearing: Plan Modification for TIF District #2 (Open Public Hearing November 12, 2013 to Continue to November 26, 2013)
Purpose/Background:
Purpose: Open Public Hearing and make motion to continue to November 26, 2013.
Council passed Resolution #13-09-168 at its regular City Council meeting of September 24, 2013 to schedule a Public Hearing on the proposed adoption of a modification to the the Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Plan for Tax Increment Financing District #2.
Council passed Resolution #13-09-168 at its regular City Council meeting of September 24, 2013 to schedule a Public Hearing on the proposed adoption of a modification to the the Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Plan for Tax Increment Financing District #2.
Notification:
The Anoka School Board and County Auditor are to receive a copy of any fiscal/economic implications of the TIF modification at least 30 days prior to the public hearing.
Observations/Alternatives:
The 30 day requirement as noted above will not be met by the November 12, 2013 regularly scheduled public hearing date, so the request is for the public hearing to be continued to the regularly scheduled meeting of November 26, 2013.

Recommendation:
Recommendation is to open public hearing and continue until November 26, 2013 to meet the 30-day requirement rule.
Action:
Motion to Open Public Hearing and continue until November 26, 2013.
