Title:
Discussion on City's Emergency Response to Railroad Emergencies
Purpose/Background:
Recently there have been some very public emergencies involving railroad incidents; specifically the transport of crude oil. There has been a request to have staff present an overview of details of response including:
1) Planning process for response to emergencies, and RR incidents specifically
2) Capabilities of city's response
3) Regional capabilities
4) Review of previous training of staff and on-going trainings

Emergency Manager will be conducting the presentation with input from City Administrator and Police Chief.
