Adopt Resolution #14-02-031 Amending the 2014 Council Organization Resolution (14-01-007) - Appointments to Northstar Corridor Development Authority

Purpose:  The purpose of this resolution is to amend the 2014 Council Organization Resolution to appoint Councilmember Johns to serve as representative on the Northstar Corridor Development Authority (NCDA) and to appoint Councilmember Riley to serve as alternate.

Background:  When Council adopted the annual organizational resolution on January 14, 2014, staff member Patrick Brama was appointed to serve as the representative for the NCDA.  It has since been noticed that the representative must be an elected official and following that discussion at the January 28, 2014 City Council work session, Councilmembers Johns and Riley volunteered to serve as representative and alternate, respectively.  Council directed that a resolution be brought forward for adoption amending Resolution #14-01-007 to show Councilmember Johns as representative and Councilmember Riley as alternate on the NCDA.  Such resolution is attached for Council adoption.

Staff recommends Council adopt the resolution amending the 2014 Council Organization Resolution #14-01-007 - the amendment being the appointment of Councilmembers to serve as representatives on the NCDA.
