Title:
Northgate Church Donation - Carnival versus Inflatable Package
Background:
Wayne Skaff of Northgate Church attended the February meeting and presented Northgate Church's donation of $5,000 toward one ride at the carnival or $5,000 towards an inflatable package which includes the very popular euro bungee jump. He stated that Northgate Church would like a sign recognizing them as the sponsor of the ride/rides.
The Committee informed Mr. Skaff that a donation of that amount would be considered an Exclusive Sponsorship at the Platinum level and that they would most definitely have a sign.
Mr. Skaff stated that he has done some research and one possible package of inflatables-including the very popular euro bungee jump, for one day - 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., would cost approximately $5,200, including insurance and staffing.
One suggestion was to have the inflatables available for the Friday Family Fun Night as well Saturday. There were a couple of draw backs to this suggestion, cost, set-up on Friday, and staffing both during the event and overnight.
The Committee asked Wayne Skaff to get a quote for the inflatable package to include Friday night from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m.
Attached is a copy of the contract from USA Inflatables for the rental of - 1-4 Station euro Bungee, 2-15 X 15 Moonwalks, 1-18’ Double Bay Slide, 1-65’ Rock climb Challenge Obstacle Course, 1-25’ Rock Climb – 11 staff member for 13 hours each. USA Inflatables will also set up and staff a 10 X 10 tent to answer questions from customers and make sure the event runs smoothly.
The total cost for the above package is $7,310. USA Inflatables will also require 7-20 amp curcuits - provided by the City.

Committee Action:
The Committee needs to decide if they are going to invite the carnival back this year or if they want to use Northgate Church's donation to rent inflatables and a euro bungee jump.
