Title:
City Board and Commission Interviews
Purpose/Background:
The City conducts annual board and commission interviews every March for specific seats that are vacant and for terms that are set to expire on March 31st for which the incumbent(s) are not serving another term; new terms begin on April 1st. Interviews will be begin at 5:30 and run through approximately 6:00 p.m. The City Council will be considering applicants for a one-year partial term on the Park and Recreation Commission.
A work-session will be planned for April in order to review and finalize a draft policy for recruiting, interviewing and appointing board and commission members.

Timeframe:
The name of the selected Park and Recreation Commission candidate and the returning incumbents will be considered at the March 25, 2014 meeting.
