Title:
Adopt Resolution #HRA-14-04-067 Approving Sale of Residential Parcels Owned by the Ramsey HRA of the City of Ramsey
Purpose/Background:
The purpose of this resolution is to formally authorize the sale of the four North Commons residential lots to Purmort Homes, Inc. During closed session on March 25, 2014, the Ramsey HRA entertained an offer from Purmort Homes, Inc. The Ramsey HRA authorized Staff to negotiate a deal within an approved price range. Staff negotiated, through CBRE, with the buyer's agent to $40,000 for the two outside lots and $37,000 for the two inside lots for a total price of $154,000. Staff is anticipating, upon final review of the Purchase Agreement by the City Attorney, a closing within 2 weeks (requested closing date on or before April 18th).
