Title
Adopt Ordinance #14-02 Authorizing and Ratifying the Sale of City Real Estate
Purpose/Background:
It is the purpose of this Ordinance to authorize and ratify the City of Ramsey’s conveyance of certain real properties that the Council determined are no longer necessary for the City’s purposes. It is in the best interests of the City and its residents to sell the properties on the open market. This Ordinance is specifically ratifying the Council's approval on February 11, 2014, to sell two residential lots (6203 Rivlyn and Vicuna/178th) to Homes of Influence, LLC. The approval of this Ordinance is required by and follows City Charter section 12.5. This ordinance was introduced on April 8 and is now eligible for formal adoption.
Recommendation:
Staff recommends adoption of Ordinance #14-02 Authorizing and Ratifying the Sale of City Real Estate
Action:
Motion to waive the City's Charter requirement of reading the ordinance aloud and adopt Ordinance #14-02 Authorizing and Ratifying the Sale of City Real Estate.
