Title:
Golf Tournament Event Review/Planning
Purpose/Background:
The purpose of this case is to update the EDA on the planning of the annual Ramsey EDA Business Appreciation Golf Tournament. At the EDA's May 8th meeting the EDA moved to continue hosting the event at The Links at Northfork. This move also included entering into a contract with The Links. The event is scheduled for the 19th of August.
Staff has worked to draft a projected budget and finalize the "save the date". These items are attached for your review. Staff anticipates the "save the date" to be sent the week of June 16th.
Staff is anticipating, based off of the projected budget, a near net zero event (financially).
Staff is requesting EDA Commissioners to forward on the "save the date" to their networks. This event is highly regarded in the business community and is shaping up to perform at that level, if not above, this year.
