Title:
Discussion Regarding 2015-2016 Union Contract Negotiations for AFSCME, LELS-Patrol and LELS-Sergeants (Discussion Closed to the Public)
Purpose/Background:
Per Minnesota Statutes 13D.03, staff is requesting that the City Council go into closed session to discuss the City's labor negotiations for the its three union contracts. Staff has met with all three groups and will provide the City Council with an update at the meeting. At the time of this writing, staff has verbally reached a tentative agreement with AFSCME,and it is anticipated to receive word of a tentative agreement with LELS-Patrol and LELS-Sergeants in the coming days.

Up to 45 minutes.

Not applicable at this time.

Outcome:
For the City Council to authorize staff to settle the 2015-2016 union contracts.
