Title:
Presentation/Recognition of Retiring Police Chief James Way
Purpose/Background:
Purpose: To recognize retiring Police Chief Way for his 30 years of service on the Ramsey Police Department.
Background: Retiring Chief Way began his service with the City of Ramsey as a Patrol Officer in 1985. In 2002, he was appointed Chief of Police and served in that capacity into 2015. He will be presented with a plaque that expresses appreciation for 30 years of outstanding and honorable service to the citizens of Ramsey and to the Ramsey Police Department. Chief Way is retired effective January 31, 2015.
