Well Water Wise Week Promotion

Well Water Wise Week is a cooperative effort between municipal and county agencies to promote proper care and maintenance of private wells.  Well Water Wise Week is May 4 through May 8 this year.  In preparation for this, the City would like to create a page accessible through the City's website that can serve as a clearinghouse for well water information.  While there is a specific week dedicated to promoting proper care of wells, questions about wells come in throughout the year.  Thus, this page would serve the residents of Ramsey year-round.

There is already a lot of information available through sites such as Anoka County's Know the Flow website (http://www.knowtheflow.us/a).  The intent would be to create a webpage for Ramsey residents to access information about wells and well water without necessarily recreating all the data.  The page would have information and links to other sites with pertinent information as well.  City Staff would like the Board to participate in this outreach project by providing ideas and/or content that it feels should be included on this webpage.
