Title:
Acceptance of plans and specifications, and authorization to bid City project #09-25; Dysprosium Street improvements
Background:
Council approved the reconstruction of Dysprosium Street NW on May 11, 2010. This project included a reduced pavement width, sidewalks, parking bump-outs, boulevard trees, and lighting. Staff has received plan review comments from MnDOT, with only minor revisions. It is anticipated that plan revisions can be made in about 1-2 weeks, and then the project will be ready for bidding.
Recommendation:
Staff recommends approval from the City Council to authorize the project for bid. Once bids are secured we will be coming back to the Council for authorization to award a contract.
