Adopt Funding and Site Agreement for the Electric Vehicle Charging Station in The Municipal Parking Ramp
 

On May 27^th 2014 the City of Ramsey received a grant from the American Lung Association in partnership with the National Renewable Energy Laboratory and the National Park Service for the purchase and installation of an electric vehicle charging station in our Municipal Parking Ramp, and the station is now in place.  The purpose of the grant is to install electric vehicle charging stations within the Mississippi National River and Recreation Area corridor of the National Park Service.  The grant covers all costs associated with purchasing and installation of the stations up to $10,333.33.  For our charging station city staff chose the ChargePoint+ CT4011 single wall mount unit and contracted with Phasor Electric for the equipment installation.

  In January of 2015 the station was installed and activated, with the invoice for the work performed by Phasor Electric forwarded to the American Heart Association for payment, per our agreement.  In April of this year, we received notice from Phasor Electric that the invoice had not been paid.  Staff resubmitted the invoice to the American Heart Association on 4/10/2015 and was informed that the ‘Funding and Site Agreement’ needed to be signed and returned before payment could be issued.  The City of Ramsey has paid Phasor Electric for their services and will be reimbursed once the ‘Funding and Site agreement is signed and returned.
